Que la problemática de\nexplotación ilegal de oro en la zona de Crucitas se inició a partir del año\n2017, lo que ha provocado extracciones ilegales de material minero, invasión de\nfincas, daño a los cuerpos de agua, excavaciones de lechos, ampliaciones de los\ncursos de agua, así como en contaminación por sedimentos provenientes de la\nutilización de sustancias peligrosas, altamente contaminantes como el cianuro y\nel mercurio, generando afectaciones ambientales y disminución en la reservas\nmineras que se encuentran en el subsuelo, las cuales pertenecen en su dominio\nal Estado.\n\n4° Que es de interés del\nEstado resguardar los recursos mineros en el Distrito de Cutris\ndel Cantón de San Carlos, de la Provincia de Alajuela con el sano propósito\nvelar por los intereses de la Nación.\n\n5°.
