De este punto\nparte una línea recta con rumbo N 42º 59' W con una longitud de 1804.24 m; al final de\nesta recta se intercepta nuevamente el cauce del Río Grande de Tárcoles, en el punto de\ncoordenadas 201.320-473,230; de este punto se sigue aguas arriba del Río Grande de\nTárcoles hasta los ejes de las coordenadas 202.310-475,000 que es la desembocadura al\nRío Turrubares; se sigue aguas arriba de este río hasta las coordenadas 202.510-477,000.\nDe aquí parte una recta con rumbo Sur Franco y una longitud de 1070 m., hasta las\ncoordenadas 201.440-477,000. Se continúa deslindando la reserva mediante una serie de\nlíneas rectas cuyos vértices tienen por coordenadas las siguientes: 201.540-476,740,\n201.450-476,660, 201.265-476,585, 201.100-476,445, 200.900-476,460, 200.800-476,340,\n200.240-476,220, 220.180-476,015, 199.925-475,790, 199.790-475,490, 199.560-475,240,\n199.545-475,030, 199.290-475,220, 198.880-475,460 y 197.690-475,880.\n\n*(Modificada su\ndenominación mediante decreto ejecutivo N°27411 del 28 de agosto de 1998)\n\nEste último de coordenadas se\nlocaliza en el cauce de una quebrada tributaria del Río Carara; aguas arriba de esta\nquebrada se continúa hasta el eje de las coordenadas 197.500-476, 500, de aquí se\ncontinúa con una línea recta con rumbo S 84º30' E, con una longitud de 370 metros y\ncoordenadas 197.465-476.868; este punto continúa por una recta hasta el eje de las\ncoordenadas 197.060-477.350, a continuación de este punto se sigue mediante una sucesión\nde líneas rectas, cuyas coordenadas son: 197.270-477,350, 197.350-477,500 y\n197.250-477,640.\n\nDe este punto se sigue por un\ncamino hasta llegar al eje de coordenadas 196.000-478,100; este último punto de\ncoordenadas se localiza en el cauce de una quebrada tributaria del Río Carara. Se\ncontinúa aguas abajo de esta quebrada hasta llegar a la confluencia con el Río Carara;\nde este punto se sigue aguas arriba del río hasta las coordenadas 195.750-478,400, que es\nla intersección con el camino entre Surtubal y el Sur; se continúa por este camino hasta\nlas coordenadas 195.478,300, de aquí parte una recta hasta llegar a la coordenada\n194.900-478,040; este último punto se localiza en el cauce del Río Sur, sobre este cauce\nse continúa aguas arriba hasta llegar a las coordenadas 192.075-479,000, a continuación\nde este punto sigue una sucesión de líneas rectas, cuyas coordenadas son:\n192.030-478,875, 192.160-478,815, 192.100-478,700, 192.170-478,690, 192.160-478,560,\n192.100-478,480.\n\nEn este último punto se\ncontinúa con una línea con rumbo S85º21' W y distancia 1234.06 m., coordenadas\n192.000-477,250; seguidamente una línea que llega hasta las coordenadas 191.940-476,850;\neste último punto interseca el cauce de una quebrada, por la que se continúa aguas abajo\nhasta las coordenadas 191.865-476,765; viene luego la sucesión de líneas rectas, cuyas\ncoordenadas son las siguientes: 191.950-476,545, 191.950-476,200, 191.930-476,120,\n191.960-475,440, 192.020-475,330, 192.030-474,830 y 192.130-474,180.\n\nEste último punto interseca un\ncamino privado hasta llevar a un afluente del Río Tarcolitos; de aquí sigue una\nsucesión de líneas rectas cuyas coordenadas son: 192.459-474,115, 192.499-474,239,\n192.519-474,258, 192.510-474,285, 192.515-474-391, 192.535-474,451, 192.570-474,487,\n192.624-474,492, 192.651-474,552, 192.679-474,552, 192.730-474,501, 192.791-474,520,\n192.933-474,526, 192.955,474,694, 193.019,821, 193.048-474,888, 193.052-474,947,\n193.124-474,969, 193.166-474,958, 193.205-474,937, 193.234-475,010, 193.222-475,069,\n193.262-475,116, 193.523-474,995, 193.688-474,981, 193.814-474,959, 193.921-474,925,\n193.726-474,143, 193-877-473-966, 193-901-473,757, 193.906-473,601, 193.757-473,569,\n193.678-473,514, 193.630-473,423, 193.638-473,326, 193.522-473-209, 193.374-473,093,\n193.280-473,000, 193.274-472,903, 193.269-472,817, 193.230-472,745, 193.195-472,660,\n193.058-472,547, 193.320-472,345 y 193.480-471,365.\n\nEste último punto se ubica en\nel cauce de una quebrada que es tributaria de la Quebrada Bonita; se continúa aguas abajo\nde esa quebrada hasta las coordenadas 194.240-471,400, de aquí parte una línea recta\ncuyo vértice final se ubica sobre la Carretera Costanera Sur, tiene rumbo N 86º14'W,\nlongitud 2.284,93 m y coordenadas 194.390-469,120, se sigue a lo largo de esta carretera\ncon un rumbo general Norte-Noreste hasta el punto de las coordenadas 195.545-469,680, de\naquí sigue una sucesión de líneas rectas cuyas coordenadas son: 195.310-470.000,\n195.155-470,155, 194.960-470,490 y 195.475-470, 365.\n\nEste último punto se ubica en\nel cauce de la Quebrada Bonita, por la que se continúa aguas abajo hasta el punto de las\ncoordenadas 195.430-470,330, que sigue luego una sucesión de líneas rectas cuyas\ncoordenadas son:\n\n195.470,295, 195.590-470,190,\n196.530-470,120, 196.700-470,030.\n\nEste último punto se ubica\nsobre la Carretera Costanera Sur, por la que se continúa con un rumbo Norte-Noreste hasta\nalcanzar las coordenadas 198.200-470,030, sobre el Río Grande de Tárcoles que es el\npunto de partida para esta descripción.\n\n(NOTA DEL SINALEVI: mediante\nel artículo 1 del decreto ejecutivo N°24429 del 12 de mayo de 1995, se adiciona \"a\nla Reserva Biológica Carara creada mediante el artículo 3º de Ley Nº 6900 de 28 de\noctubre de 1983, el área que se localiza en la hoja cartográfica Tárcoles, del\nInstituto Geográfico Nacional escala 1:50 000 y que se describe a continuación:\n\nPartiendo de un punto ubicado en la\ncarretera Costanera Sur, en coordenadas N 195 545, 469 680 E, continuando luego por una\nsucesión de líneas rectas cuyas coordenadas son N 195 310, 470 000 E y N 195 155, 470\n155 E y N 194 960, 470 490 E y N 195 475, 470 365 E, este último punto se ubica en el\ncauce de la Quebrada Bonita, por la que continúa aguas abajo hasta un punto ubicado en\ncoordenadas N 195 430, 470 330 E, continuando luego por una sucesión de líneas rectas,\ncuyas coordenadas son N 195 475, 470 295 E y N 195 590, 470 190 E y N 196 530, 470 120 E y\nN 196 700, 470 030 E, este último punto se ubica sobre la carretera Costanera Sur,\ncontinuando por ésta hasta el punto de partida de la presente descripción\").\n\n2.- Los terrenos propiedad del\nEstado, abarcados en la anterior demarcación son inalienables y no susceptibles de\ninscripción mediante información posesoria, pues la posesión de ellos, según lo\npreceptuado en el artículo 25 de la Ley Forestal, no origina derechos de especie alguna.\n\n3.- La administración de este\nparque nacional* estará a cargo del Servicio de Parques Nacionales el cual deberá\npreparar y ejecutar los planes de manejo y de desarrollo. Corresponderá al Instituto\nGeográfico Nacional la demarcación de sus límites en el terreno.\n\n*(Modificada su\ndenominación mediante decreto ejecutivo N°27411 del 28 de agosto de 1998).\n\n4.- Dentro de este parque* se\naplicarán las normas y prohibiciones establecidas en la ley Nº 6084 del 24 de agosto de\n1977.\n\n*(Modificada su\ndenominación mediante decreto ejecutivo N°27411 del 28 de agosto de 1998).\n\n5.- Se establece la Zona\nProtectora \"Cerros de Turrubares\", que corresponde al territorio cuyo perímetro\nestá definido por las rectas que unen los vértices que se indican a continuación\nmediante sus coordenadas, según los mapas básicos del Instituto Geográfico Nacional,\nescala 1:50.000. (Tárcoles 3245-II, Barranca 3254 I, Río Grande 3345-IV y Candelaria\n3345-III): partiendo de un punto en las coordenadas 200.550-479,265, ubicado en la\nintersección de la Quebrada Honda con el camino entre Surtubal y Bajo la Laguna;\ncontinúa el límite por este camino con rumbo general noroeste hasta un punto ubicado en\nlas coordenadas 201.240-479,630, sigue luego por una serie de líneas rectas cuyas\ncoordenadas se describen a continuación: 202.150-480,635 y 935-481.175.\n\nEste último punto interseca el\ncauce de un afluente de la Quebrada Grande, por donde continúa el límite aguas arriba,\nhasta un punto en las coordenadas 203.740-482,470, siguiendo luego por una serie de puntos\ncuyas coordenadas son las siguientes: 203.860-482,470, 203.940-482,340, 204.455-482,340 y\n203,550-483,000.\n\nEste último punto se encuentra\nen el cauce de la Quebrada Grande, continuando el límite aguas arriba de ésta, hasta un\npunto en las coordenadas 204.000-483,500, siguiendo luego por una línea con rumbo ESTE\nFRANCO hasta intersecar un camino en un punto en las coordenadas204.000-483,560,\ncontinuando por una línea recta hasta un punto en las coordenadas 205.000-484,350,\nubicado en el cauce de la Quebrada San Francisco; para continuar luego por una serie de\npunto ubicados en la línea divisoria de aguas cuyas coordenadas son las siguientes:\n204.125-484,340, 202.100-483,825, 201.800-483,800 y 201.500-483,830.\n\nEste último punto se encuentra\nubicado en la cima del Cerro San Luis: continuando siempre sobre la línea divisoria de\naguas por una serie de puntos con las siguientes coordenadas: 201.375-483,850,\n201.150-484,000, 200.910-484,040, 200.300-484.000 y 200.100-483-975.\n\nEste último punto se encuentra\nubicado en la cima del Cerro Pelón, para continuar luego por la Fila Caite por una\nsucesión de puntos sobre la línea divisoria de aguas, cuyas coordenadas son las\nsiguientes: 199.400-483,825, 198.800-483,925 y 198.575-483,825. Continúa luego por una\nserie de puntos ubicados en los Cerros Turrubares, siempre sobre la línea divisoria de\naguas, cuyas coordenadas se detallan a continuación: 198.400-483,800, 198.200-484,000,\n198.000-484,220, 197.850-484,440 y 197.600-484, 625.\n\nContinúa el límite siempre\npor la línea divisoria de aguas, por una serie de puntos sobre la Fila Altos de Carara,\ncon las siguientes coordenadas: 197.375-484,600, 196.475-484,210, 195.875-483,800,\n195.550-483,650 y 195.230-483,350.\n\nDe este último punto se sigue\npor una línea recta hasta un punto ubicado en la naciente del Río del Sur, en las\ncoordenadas 193.890-482,035, para seguir por una sucesión de puntos con las siguientes\ncoordenadas: 194.010-482,070, 194.150-481,960, 194.215-481,860, 194.365-481,740,\n1194.500-481,670, 194.360-481,360, 194.390-480,745, 194.400-480,5525, 194.615-480,485,\n194.970-480,630 195.160-480,650 y 195.500-480,570.\n\nEste último punto se encuentra\nubicado en el cauce de una quebrada intermitente que es afluente del Río Carara,\ncontinuando aguas arriba de dicha quebrada hasta su nacimiento en las coordenadas\n195.125-481,825, continúa por una línea recta hasta un punto en las coordenadas\n195.825-482,625, ubicado en el cauce de un afluente del Río Carara, por donde continúa\naguas arriba hasta un punto en las coordenadas 195.900-482-920; luego continúa por una\nlínea con rumbo Norte Franco hasta intersecar un punto en el cauce del Río Carara en las\ncoordenadas 196.860-482,920, siguiendo el límite aguas abajo de este río hasta la\nintersección de éste con una quebrada intermitente en el punto de coordenadas\n195.940-482,300; continúa aguas arriba de esta quebrada hasta el punto de coordenadas\n197.610-482,365, siguiendo por una línea recta hasta intersecar un vereda en el punto de\ncoordenadas 197.680-481,520, para seguir por una línea recta hasta el punto de\ncoordenadas 198-100-481,500 ubicado en la Quebrada Honda, por donde sigue aguas abajo\nhasta encontrar un punto en las coordenadas 200.220-479,265, que es el punto de partida de\nesta descripción.\n\n6.- Los inmuebles -estatales y\nprivados- comprendidos dentro de los linderos señalados en el artículo anterior quedan\nobligatoriamente sometidos al régimen forestal.
