Article 10 of the aforementioned law, which declared the zone of two thousand meters on both sides of the Pan-American Highway alignment, where oak trees exist, a National Park and established the restrictive regime to which said areas were subject, is likewise repealed.\n\nArticle Record\n\nArticle 2.— Possessors who prove, through administrative proceedings (información administrativa) to be processed before the Institute of Lands and Colonization (Instituto de Tierras y Colonización) and through the legal procedures in force, that they have exercised ten-year possession in a peaceful, public, and uninterrupted manner and as owners, shall have the right to be granted their respective title of ownership (título de propiedad) free of charge, exempt from fees and registration rights.
