Estas seis especies son jaguar, puma, manigordo,\ntigrillo, caucel y yaguarundí. \n\nIII.-Que\nse requiere crear conciencia en la población y obtener un mayor apoyo para la\npreservación de estas especies y su hábitat, mediante la emisión de políticas,\nprogramas, iniciativas y acciones concretas de parte del Gobierno,\norganizaciones no gubernamentales, academia, sociedad civil y empresa privada. \n\nIV.-Que\nla ciudadanía y el Gobierno de la\n República deben compartir esfuerzos en el resguardo y\nprotección de estas especies, por lo que resulta de suma importancia consagrar\nun día a nivel nacional, a efecto de que se reflexione respecto a su condición\nde especie en peligro de extinción, su función ecológica y la necesidad de su\nconservación. \n\nV.-Que la\nvida silvestre se encuentra íntimamente ligada al resto del sistema ecológico\nen una perfecta relación de equilibrio, y en la medida que se afecte éste se\ncausaría perjuicio al ecosistema del cual la especie humana también es parte.
