  "body_en_text": "in the entirety of the text\n\n                    -\n\n                        Complete Text of Regulation 38584\n\n                        Appoints a member of the National Commission for Biodiversity Management\n\nComplete Text record: 117FB3\n\nNo. 38584-MINAE \n\n(This\nexecutive decree was repealed by article 1 of executive decree No.\n40443 of May 19, 20017)\n\nTHE PRESIDENT OF THE\nREPUBLIC \n\nAND THE MINISTER OF\nENVIRONMENT AND ENERGY \n\nExercising the\npowers conferred upon them by articles 140, subsections 3) and 18), and 146 of the\nPolitical Constitution, and the Biodiversity Law No. 7788 of April 30, 1998. \n\nConsidering: \n\nI.-That the Biodiversity\nLaw No. 7788 of April 30, 1998, created the National Commission for\nBiodiversity Management as a decentralized body of the Ministry of\nEnvironment and Energy, with instrumental legal personality. \n\nII.-That the aforementioned Law\nassigns to that Commission, functions concerning conservation, ecologically\nsustainable use, and restoration of biodiversity, which are of\nvital importance for the country's sustainable development. \n\nIII.-That article\n15 of the Biodiversity Law establishes the manner in which the\nCommission shall be composed, according to the appointments made by the entities and organizations\nindicated by law.\n\nIV.-That Executive\nDecree No. 29680-MINAE of July 23, 2001, published in La Gaceta No.\n150 of August 7, 2001, regulates the functioning of this Commission. Therefore, \n\nThey decree: \n\nArticle 1.-To appoint\nas part of the members comprising the National Commission for Biodiversity Management, the following representative of the National System of Conservation Areas: \n\n1. Permanent\nMember: \n\na.\nJulio Jurado Fernández, identity card: one-five zero one-one nine hundred\nfive.\n\nArticle 2.-For the purposes of the term contemplated in\narticle 15 of the Biodiversity Law, the appointment is made for a\nfull period of three years.\n\nArticle\n3.-The following is repealed: \n\n1. Executive Decree No. 37208-MINAET of July 18,\n2012, published in Digital Supplement No. 111 to La Gaceta No.\n156 of August 14, 2012.\n\nArticle 4.-It shall enter into force upon its publication. \n\nDone at the Presidency of the Republic.-San José, at nine o'clock on\nJuly two, two thousand fourteen."
