Article 1.—Add a Chapter V to the General Regulation on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Procedures, Executive Decree No. 31849-MINAE-S-MOPT-MAG-MEIC of May 24, 2004, and its amendments, which shall read as follows:

“CHAPTER V
Of the Registry of Environmental Consultants

Article 64.- The Registry of Environmental Consultants is hereby created, hereinafter the Registry, as a body attached to the National Environmental Technical Secretariat (SETENA), with the functions established in this Regulation.

Article 65.- The Registry shall have the following functions:
a) To keep control of environmental consultants, individuals and legal entities, authorized to prepare environmental assessment documents submitted to SETENA…”
