Español (source)Artículo 1º-La ratificación de la República de Costa Rica a la Enmienda al artículo XXI de la Convención sobre el Comercio Internacional de Especies Amenazadas de Fauna y Flora Silvestres, adoptada en reunión extraordinaria de la Conferencia de las Partes, en Gaborone, Botswana, el 30 de abril de 1983.
Artículo 2º-Rige a partir de esta fecha.
English (translation)Article 1.- The ratification by the Republic of Costa Rica of the Amendment to Article XXI of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, adopted at an extraordinary meeting of the Conference of the Parties in Gaborone, Botswana, on April 30, 1983.
Article 2.- It shall enter into force as of this date.

Considerando:
1º-Que la Asamblea Legislativa
mediante Ley número 9154 del día tres de julio del dos mil trece, publicada en
el Alcance Digital número 120 a La Gaceta número 133 del 11 de julio del
2013, en su artículo 2 aprobó la
Enmienda al artículo XXI de la Convención sobre
el Comercio Internacional de Especies Amenazadas de Fauna y Flora Silvestres,
adoptada en reunión extraordinaria de la Conferencia de las Partes, en Gaborone, Botswana,
el 30 de abril de 1983.
2º-Que según los artículos XVII y XX de esta
Convención, los instrumentos de ratificación, aceptación o aprobación serán
depositados en poder del Gobierno de la Confederación Suiza. Por
tanto,
En uso de las facultades que les confieren los incisos
10) y 12) del artículo 140 y el artículo 146 de la Constitución
Política de la República de Costa Rica.
Decretan:
Artículo 1º-La ratificación de la República de
Costa Rica a la Enmienda
al artículo XXI de la
Convención sobre el Comercio Internacional de Especies
Amenazadas de Fauna y Flora Silvestres, adoptada en reunión extraordinaria de la Conferencia de las
Partes, en Gaborone, Botswana, el 30 de abril de 1983.
Artículo 2º-Rige a
partir de esta fecha.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC
AND THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND WORSHIP
Considering:
1º—That the Legislative Assembly, through Law number 9154 of the third day of July two thousand thirteen, published in Digital Supplement number 120 to La Gaceta number 133 of July 11, 2013, in its article 2 approved the Amendment to Article XXI of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, adopted at an extraordinary meeting of the Conference of the Parties, in Gaborone, Botswana, on April 30, 1983.
2º—That according to Articles XVII and XX of this Convention, the instruments of ratification, acceptance, or approval shall be deposited with the Government of the Swiss Confederation. Therefore,
In exercise of the powers conferred by subsections 10) and 12) of Article 140 and Article 146 of the Political Constitution of the Republic of Costa Rica.
Decree:
Article 1—The ratification by the Republic of Costa Rica of the Amendment to Article XXI of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, adopted at an extraordinary meeting of the Conference of the Parties, in Gaborone, Botswana, on April 30, 1983.
Article 2—Effective as of this date.
Issued at the Presidency of the Republic, on the twenty-sixth day of August two thousand thirteen.
